Selecting a dismantling joint for a valve installation
A dismantling joint completes the connection around a valve or other pipeline component. The selection starts with the installation geometry and the exact flange requirements.
Record the installation dimensions
Provide the distance between connection faces, the available assembly space and the pipe alignment. Compare these details with the dimensional drawing for the selected product.
Specify the mating flanges
State DN, PN and the flange drilling standard on both sides. Include the adjoining valve model and the required body, flange and fastener materials.
Clarify adjustment and restraint
Explain the adjustment needed during installation and the intended dismantling procedure. Confirm the arrangement of tie rods and the project restraint requirements with the technical team; an installation adjustment is not a substitute for a specified expansion joint.
Prepare the enquiry
Send the model, quantity, installation drawing, fluid, operating conditions and destination. Where a telescopic arrangement is needed, request the drawing and adjustment details for that configuration.
